The NZSAE State of the Association Sector Survey is a national snapshot of how membership-based organisations across Aotearoa are performing, adapting, and planning for the future.

This 15–20 minute survey gathers insights from association executives, operational boards, and membership professionals — covering governance, engagement, revenue, staffing, advocacy, and more.

Who can participate?

The survey is open to all associations and membership-based organisations operating in New Zealand — whether you’re a member of NZSAE or not.

  • NZSAE members will automatically receive the full benchmarking report.

  • Non-members can receive the report by completing the survey and leaving their email address at the end.
