Webinar Wednesday - 20 November  (book below)

We’re excited to bring a new, conversation-driven approach to our Wednesday Webinar series. This hybrid format is designed for real-time engagement, where attendees can ask questions anytime, and the moderator will pause the presentation to dive into live discussions.

Our first 30-minute session begins with Employment Law – What Do You Want to Know About?, featuring an employment lawyer ready to answer your questions and address real-world scenarios.

This will be followed by a practical discussion on Are You Compliant with the Incorporated Societies Act? Around Complaints

Join us for this unique opportunity to learn, ask, and engage in an interactive, open format.

Employment Law – What Do You Want To Know About?

Tess will be facilitating a conversation regarding the topics that interest you in the employment law space.  Send questions in advance or put her on the spot!  Think discipline, attendance, performance management, medical incapacity, restructures…Tess is looking forward to understanding what our members need and talking to you about what you want to know

Incorporated Societies Act - Complaints.  Are You Compliant?

Section 26 of The Act says that your Constitution must contain procedures for resolving disputes.  Whilst it also sets out some guidelines on how to do so, it does not provide information on how a good complaint process should work.  In this session Trevor Slater will give an overview on best practice complaint handling and how it can provide benefits for both members and association and meet the requirements of The Act.
